Downtown Community Television announced the launch of its anti-gun violence tour in New York City and beyond and will kick it off with the “Bullets in the Hood: A Bed Stuy Story. The award winning film was made by two “Bed Stuyers” that grew up in public housing where they lost over 11 friends to gun-violence in the streets of New York.

The film, which won Sundance covenant 2005 Special Jury Prize for Short Filmmaking, focuses on the police shooting of Timothy Stansbury. Terrence, one of the two of the film’s principle documentary experts, were close friends and was with Mr. Stansbury was shot.
