Tuesday, November 20, 2007 (Brooklyn, NY) - Just in time for Christmas, Head Over Heels, New York City’s upscale shoe source for the well heeled sole, presents an in-store book signing for author and motivational speaker Yvonne Williams’ latest book, “It’s All About the Shoes: Hope, Heartbreak and The Search for the Perfect Shoes”. The toe tapping event takes place Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Head Over Heels’ Harlem location, 270 St. Nicholas Avenue (corner of West 124th Street).

Yvonne L. Williams, a twice published author is a charismatic and inspirational speaker who infuses thousands with hope in their fight against cancer and other maladies. This 18 year victor over three simultaneous primary cancers located in four areas: Colon, ovarian (both ovaries) and endometrial is an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society and has received numerous awards for her volunteerism. She is a member of The Links, Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has appeared on TV and radio both nationally and internationally and has been featured in numerous articles. Yvonne lives by the quote she has coined: Take you brick walls; lay them flat and make them stepping stones. She is a native of Trinidad & Tobago and the mother of two adults. She lives in Wilbraham with her husband of 30 years.
