I usually try extremely hard to avoid posting information outside the great neighborhood. However, as the media consultant for The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce for the last 10 - 12 years, I take such great pride in being part of a collective effort to celebrate another great neighborhood - HARLEM. Anyone that does event planning can attest to the hardwork that goes into planning even a minor party and to be a part of a team that plans over 100 events in a 2 month span is insane. Yet, a true labor of love. The pay we receive surpasses financial wealth. It is the sheer joy in seeing "our" folks enjoying themselves at these various FRE events. Hope you all can make it to some of the activities. HARLEM WEEK 2006
