Former Brooklyn School Teacher Elected President by Baltimore, MD School Board

Patricia Gordon, a former Bedford Stuyvesant elementary school teacher, was recently chosen president elect of the Maryland Association of Boards of Education for 2007-2008.
Officers and members of the board of directors are elected by the membership to serve one-year terms.
Gordon was elected to the Howard County Board of Education in 2000 for a six-year term, and re-elected in 2006 to serve a four-year term.
Ms. Gordon, who received her BA degree from Hunter and MS degree in Education from Queens College, was born in New York City.
